Audrey brings to Massey LLP a compelling combination of business acumen, academic distinction, and global perspective. Audrey is a labour and employment lawyer who works with both employees and employers to navigate workplace issues with practical, strategic, and business-savvy advice.

She advises on a wide range of matters arising throughout the employment relationship, including day-to-day workplace issues, terminations, human rights and accommodation, and labour relations. Audrey also supports clients in the employment aspects of corporate transactions and workplace disputes, bringing a thoughtful and solutions-oriented approach to complex legal and operational challenges.

Prior to joining Massey LLP, Audrey practiced at a major Bay Street firm and also gained in-house experience, giving her a strong understanding of the legal and business considerations that shape employers’ decisions.

Audrey’s practice reflects a strong balance of advocacy, strategic judgment, and practical client service. She works closely with Frank Portman on matters involving all aspects of employment relationships. She also supports Scott Lemke on complex commercial and civil litigation matters, applying careful legal analysis, sound judgment, and a results-oriented approach, and assists Jeffrey Kroeker on government relations and strategic advisory files for clients.

Unique Skills and Attributes

Audrey brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice, informed by her experience in private practice, international legal work, and bilingual professional and academic environments. Having practiced and studied law in both French and English, she is well positioned to support clients and colleagues, including in linguistic and cultural contexts, with precision and adaptability.

Audrey’s international perspective is informed by her academic background in international development, her work with a large international non-governmental organization supporting legal initiatives in Africa and Latin America, and her studies in law and business in Latin America. These experiences have shaped her appreciation for the ways in which legal, commercial, and institutional considerations intersect among different cultures, and continue to inform her practical and globally-minded approach to client service.

Audrey’s legal training is complemented by business education, including a Master of Business Administration. This combination allows her to consider not only the legal issues in a matter, but also the operational and commercial realities that often shape client decisions.

Originally from Montréal, Audrey is fully bilingual in French and English and brings additional language skills to her work, including Spanish and a basic working knowledge of Mandarin.
